2020 Player Registration Information

Online Registration - NOW OPEN
NEW: Government legislation requires all sport administers to providing participant/registrant compliance and mandatory waivers.
The Online registration platform will ensure that these mandatory requirements are met. (eg. Rowan's Law; concussion information)
Players/Parents are to carefully read all forms in the registration package.

The player registration form requests the birth register number. This number is located on the birth certificate card.

Player Registration Refund Policy:

Notification of player withdrawing from program and request for refund must be in writing.

100%     if notified by April 30th

50%       if notified by May 31st

No Refund    if notified after May 31st

Sport Insurance / Player Injury:

All players, coaches and officials will be covered under the Ontario Baseball Association's General Liability & Accident Coverage Policy.

If an insured individual sustains an injury it must be documented and reported to the OBA within 30 days. The player or parent is responsible to report directly to Baseball Ontario.  Be aware that occasionally players who sustain impact on face or head may display issues (e.g. dental) weeks thereafter.  It is important that all injuries be reported, even if it seems insignificant, in the event something develops later.

Photo Policy:

Photographs of players are taken randomly throughout the season.  Photos may be posted on this website, the WOBA website or in media such as newspapers or brochures.  Parents are responsible in providing consent and do so by indicating this on the player online registration form.

Confirm Permission to Providing Email: 

Online registration forms have a section where one is informed of how to unsubscribe to receiving email notices of baseball related information from Baseball Ontario. 

Your local coach may choose to use email for team and organizational communication for the purposes of providing baseball related information which includes team schedules, rule updates, team tryout opportunities, announcements, promotions, coupons.  You can opt out at any time by informing your coach directly.
