Holden was an instrumental part for the success of his team and a huge factor in his team winning back to back OBA "13U C" Provincial Championships.
This nominee enjoys the company of his teammates and is a role model gentleman for the sport. He was always the first at the diamond and last to leave for both practices and games, and was often seen picking up garbage from the bench when others had already left to go home. He always helped at practice by setting up and taking down equipment. His coaches admirably noted that they never had to speak to him about his attitude towards fellow players, coaches or umpires. Every player was treated and regarded as a equal participant and he did not minimize anyone's abilities.
Congratulations to Holden Heipel as the 2019 WOBA Youth Rep Player of the Year.
