Mustangs U15 #1 Win WOBA Consolation Championship
Clinton Mustangs U15#1 went a perfect 4-0 to win the WOBA Consolation B Division Championship August 19-21 in Gorrie.
Clinton opened the tournament with a 7-6 walkoff win over the Owen Sound Hawks. They followed up with a couple of strong offensive games defeating Saugeen Shores Sting 17-2 and the Listowel Legionnaires 13-0 to head into the finals undefeated.
Facing Listowel for the second time in the tournament, Clinton pulled off a 4-2 victory to win the Championship.
Weekend highlights were the all around strong pitching performances and Avery Skinner and Ethan Blake both hitting a towering homerun shot over the left-center field fence!
