Clinton Mustangs 11U Holds Off Kincardine Cardinals For Victory

  • Clinton got out to a six-run lead in the second inning and held on for a 16-14 victory over Kincardine Cardinals on Tuesday. Kincardine Cardinals scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by Bauman in the third, a single by Smith in the third, a single by Bauman in the fifth, and a single by Frook in the fifth.
  • Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Mustangs collected 11 hits and Kincardine Cardinals had 15.
  • Kincardine Cardinals opened up scoring in the first inning. Elliott drove in one when he singled.
